Born from an exclusive collaboration between Four Pillars Gin, QANTAS and the Rockpool Group, the Modern Australian Gin was originally a "secret" gin served in fancy restaurants and airport lounges — until everyone wanted in. Crystal clear in the glass, this gin opens with an assertive, aromatic nose of peppery spice, piney juniper, tangy grapefruit and anise. On the palate, a slightly sweet entry leads into a bright, dry profile where red and green Szechuan peppercorns deliver a lovely warm, tingly mouthfeel without overpowering the juniper-forward core. Macadamia nuts lend a buttery, almost creamy softness, while fresh apples, ginger and grapefruit peel add fruit and lift, and native quandong contributes a dry, tangy complexity. The finish is long and clean, with lingering peppery spice, piney juniper and faint citrus trailing off into a gentle warmth that invites another sip.
